Experienced Service Technician
Job Type Full-timeDescriptionJ.JNichting is looking for a Service Technician that will independently perform basic/complex diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned agricultural equipmentESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
oPerforms basic/complex agricultural equipment diagnostics and determines what repairs are needed, if required.oPerforms basic/complex agricultural equipment repairs as requested by the Service Manager/Shop Foreman.oParticipates in all job-related training and development.oPrepares all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments.oMaintains current product knowledge of Case IH products.oMaintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment.oMentors service technician apprentices and junior service technicians.The above statements cover what are generally believed to be the principal and essential functions of this jobSpecific circumstances may allow or require some people assigned to the job to perform a somewhat different combination of duties

Experience:
oAssociates Degree in Diesel Technology or equivalent experience. Technical Knowledge and Skills:
oProven knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and techniques used in the repair of agricultural equipment.oOutstanding knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.oExcellent skills in operating vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes.oAbility to work varying shifts, weekends, extended hours, and holidays.oMust maintain a valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.oMust have basic knowledge of equipment safety procedures.Working Conditions:
oAll weather conditions.oMust be able to lift 75 pounds.oWorkshop setting.oStanding for extended periods of time.oRepetitive bending and/or kneeling.Travel Requirements:
